Mutual Recognition – New Zealand
The Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and the New Zealand Dietitians Board (NZDB) have entered into a Voluntary Relationship Charter for the Mutual Recognition of Dietetic Standards.
This Charter means that Australian Accredited Practising Dietitians and New Zealand Registered Dietitians with an Annual Practising Certificate may be eligible to work in either country by completing a simple application process.

Please download and complete the Application Form. Please allow a minimum of 21 days for your completed application (including Australian Cultural Awareness Quiz) to be processed.
You should read the DA Code of Professional Conduct and Statement of Ethical Practice for dietitians practising in Australia before completing your application.

Reading Program Assessment Task
Please complete the online Australian Cultural Awareness Assessment and send your application form and membership fee to DA. You are allowed three separate attempts to achieve a passing score of 87%. If you do not achieve this score within three attempts, email dsr@dietitiansaustralia.org.au. You have an unlimited amount of time to complete each attempt.
