This Call to Action outlines Dietitians Australia’s key areas of focus to address crucial gaps in the current Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) systems, such as inconsistencies in food provision guidelines across jurisdictions, the lack of free on-the-ground food and nutrition support for ECEC services, the absence of best practice food and nutrition guidelines and quality pre-service training to facilitate the urgent need for change.
