Submitted to the Capital Health Network (November 2021)

The Australian Capital Territory Primary Health Network (ACT PHN) has reviewed its previous Needs Assessments. Dietitians Australia has submitted feedback to the draft Needs Assessment as part of the community consultation.

The Needs Assessment looks at the current and likely future needs of the Canberra population.

ACT PHN has identified 9 priority areas:

• Care across the continuum
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
• Digital health
• Alcohol and other drugs
• Mental health
• Chronic conditions
• Aged care
• At-risk populations
• Workforce

Our submission addresses each of the priority areas with recommendations.
