Robert Hunt | Chief Executive Officer

Robert is a highly experienced CEO with significant health industry management experience with the National Heart Foundation, Australian Medical Association and most recently as National CEO of St John Ambulance Australia. Robert is a qualified CPA, born and bred in Canberra. Robert’s strong focus throughout his career has been to advance professional conduct and he is a passionate advocate for support and encouragement of professional life.  As a long time member of his professional body CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Robert is keen to protect and enhance the professional standing and recognition of dietitians in Australia.


Bree Murray APD | General Manager Regulatory Services

As our General Manager of Regulatory Services, Bree is focused on creating a dietetic workforce that is safe and responsive to public health and wellbeing needs. Bree has over 20 years’ experience in allied health, starting from her early days as a pharmacy assistant through to various roles in nutrition policy, food regulation and supply.  With a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics, Bree has also worked in the communications, marketing and professional services areas of Dietitians Australia. When not at her desk, Bree enjoys running by the ocean, mastering new kitchen creations and getting hooked on true crime podcasts.

Sue Bruce | Chief Finance Officer

Sue is an experienced financial manager, accountant and HR professional. With over 30 years’ experience and qualifications in accounting, management, teaching and governance, Sue takes pride in providing top-class service to Dietitians Australia’s members, staff, suppliers and stakeholders. As our Chief Finance Officer, she also enjoys seeing a balanced balance sheet! A career highlight was the reconciliation of expenditure for a $640 million project spanning 14 years across 3 financial systems. Away from the spreadsheets, Sue has two adult children and two grandchildren who love spending time with their Nanna Sue.

Sally Moloney APD | Marketing and Membership Administration Manager

As Dietitians Australia’s Marketing and Membership Administration Manager, Sally is one of our longest standing staff members, having worked for the organisation since 2009. Her enthusiasm for dietetics can be traced further than 2002, when she was the first dietitian to be employed at the English Institute of Sport. An experienced marketing professional, Sally oversees membership administration and engaging members in our campaigns, activities, events and resources. Whether it’s Dietitians Day, Smart Eating Week or our national conference, Sally is passionate about advancing the dietetics industry and increasing member satisfaction. Outside the office, Sally enjoys playing basketball and making the most of her balmy location on the Gold Coast.

Bec Mete APD | Education and Professional Services Manager

Bec is our Education and Professional Services Manager, overseeing Dietitians Australia’s events, Centre for Advanced Learning courses, as well as the professional services of our Interest Groups and Engagement and Development Committees. Bec is passionate about creating evidence-based and life-long learning opportunities for dietitians. It’s a passion she applies to her own life, as she works to complete her Doctor of Philosophy in Dietetics. When she’s not studying or working, Bec enjoys cooking and sharing meals with her large family, as well as looking after her various fur and feathered babies on her rural property outside Canberra.

Fleur Charlton | Communications Manager

Fleur has worked in the communications and marketing industries for over 20 years, gaining valuable experience in both the government and private sectors. As a seasoned Communications Manager with qualifications in both communications and marketing, she is passionate about creating engaging content that helps achieve business objectives. A career highlight was her role in a campaign which won an Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) Award for Content Marketing. In addition to member communications, Fleur is involved in brand strategy, public relations and optimising Dietitians Australia’s online presence. Outside the office, Fleur enjoys skiing, mountain bike riding and is always dreaming about her next overseas trip.
