Our Fellows of Dietitians Australia (FDA) credential recognises dietitians with advanced skills, who have enhanced the health of the community.

The FDA credential is considered a honour by Dietitians Australia.

To achieve FDA status, Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs) need to complete an application process. Once it has been awarded, you don't need to re-apply.

In this policy:

  • eligibility for the credential
  • how the award is presented
  • competency standards to achieve FDA status
  • the assessment process
  • the application process
