The Capacity Building in Disability for Dietitians (CBDD) project aims to enhance dietitians’ knowledge, skills and confidence to respond to the needs of people with disability and improve access to timely, inclusive, relevant and high-quality dietitian services.

Urgent amendments to NDIS Supports Lists required

Sent November 2024 - Speech Pathology Australia and Dietitians Australia have written to the Hon. Bill Shorten, Minister for the NDIS, requesting urgent updates are made to the lists of NDIS supports.

Released December 2022 - The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) play a critical role in implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). However, problems with the operation of the scheme including inconsistencies in decision-making processes, lead to disruption of critical dietetic services and serious impacts on the health and wellbeing of people with disability.
